Charpy Pendulum Impact Testing Machine

JB-500B Pendulum Impact Testing Machine

Product Introduction

I. Purpose and Features

It is primarily used for conducting impact tests on ferrous metals with high impact toughness, especially steel and its alloys. The specimen cross-section is 10 mm × 10 mm.

The testing principle is based on the difference between the potential energy before impact and the residual energy after breaking the specimen, which is indicated on a dial gauge to calculate the absorbed energy of the specimen.

The machine features semi-automatic control, offering simple operation and high efficiency. The pendulum automatically returns to its raised position using the residual energy after breaking the specimen, which is particularly advantageous when performing consecutive impact tests.

The machine is suitable for conducting impact tests on metallic materials. The maximum impact energy is 500 J, and it comes with an additional 250 J pendulum.
